This panel will be moderated by Alejandra Corbella from Crypto Babes, a community dedicated to educating, empowering and connecting women in the crytpo community.

Lauren Sieckmann is a writer, producer, director and former professional beach volleyball player. Her interest in crypto began in 2019 when she was introduced to Bitcoin by her father. She then decided to combine the two things she loved, film and bitcoin by getting an untitled documentary on its feet. The film will be released mid 2023. In her days as an athlete, Lauren appeared in Vogue Spain and various fitness commercial work, also engaging in work as a brand ambassador.

Hailey Lennon is a shareholder in Anderson Kill’s Technology, Media and Distributed Systems Group. She is based in California and affiliated with Anderson Kill’s Los Angeles office. Prior to joining Anderson Kill, Hailey was regulatory counsel at leading cryptocurrency platforms Coinbase and bitFlyer.

At Coinbase, Hailey helped oversee regulatory relationships with the SEC, CFTC, OFAC, and state regulators. She worked with the New York Department of Financial Services to obtain approvals for new products, services and digital assets, and managed the organization’s Bitlicense and Trust Company supervisory relationships, reporting, and audits.

Prior, Hailey helped bitFlyer Japan’s expansion into the United States, obtaining money transmitter licenses for 33 states, as well as the coveted New York BitLicense. At bitFlyer, Hailey served as board secretary for the Virtual Commodity Association, a working group seeking to establish an industry-sponsored self-regulatory organization for the cryptocurrency industry. Previously, Hailey was AVP of regulatory compliance at Silvergate Bank. Hailey is an analyst for Forbes Crypto and is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).

Natalie Brunell is a podcast host, educator, and media commentator in the Bitcoin space. Her popular show, Coin Stories, features interviews with Bitcoin thought leaders about their backgrounds and conviction for BTC. She is also a video contributor to Bitcoin Magazine. Previously, Natalie was an award-winning TV journalist and investigative reporter. For the last 10 years, she covered in-depth local and national news topics and holds an Emmy for breaking news coverage. Natalie is also an adjunct professor of advanced communication and visual storytelling at the University of Southern California. She holds a Master’s of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.

In 2018, WendyO had the opportunity to go into crypto full time and she took a leap of faith. She started her YouTube channel (now ~170k subscribers) by live streaming with free community networking events. She quickly saw the lack of transparent marketing in the industry. Instead of complaining or dwelling on this issue, she decided she would start a company, Beyond Associates. Its mission is to provide transparent marketing, business development, brand building, media solutions, and professional events for blockchain companies globally. They work tirelessly to achieve their goals.
